I’m so so grateful for your service!!! Thank you !! Happy Memorial Day πŸ™πŸ»πŸ’• “The tragedy of life is often not in our failure, but rather in our complacency; not in our doing too much, but rather in our doing too little; not in our living above our ability, but rather in our living below our capacities”—Benjamin E. May

While funerals happen every day, a soldier's funeral has a different meaning altogether. It's about honor and sacrifice, which cannot, for one minute, be downplayed, and it happens more often then we would like to think about or admit.

Leon E. Panetta, the former Secretary of Defense, was reminded of this sacrifice on a daily basis and wrote this about it on Memorial Day, 2012: Since taking this position, I have written hundreds of letters of condolence to the families of the fallen.  It is the hardest part of my job.  There are no words that can heal, no sentences that can lessen that loss.

I keep the fallen and their families in my heart and in my prayers, and I tell those families that their loved one died to give their fellow Americans a better life.  That is the price they paid for us.  Let us never forget them and what they have done for this country.   I'm so very grateful and humbled that my life is a direct product of such valor and sacrifice.

Thank you to the men and women that have, and still serve this wonderful country. We commemorate you and your many services, known and unknown.     God Bless You and God Bless America!I’m so so grateful for your service!!!
